Arsenal may have secured only a point from the recent North London

Arsenal may have secured only a point from the recent North London derby against Tottenham, but this was a well-earned point for the gunners since they appeared to be heading for a defeat.

Spurs were leading in the game after a goal from striker Harry Kane and Arsenal struggled to get back into the match until the latter stages. Kieran Gibbs provided a late equaliser and the match finished as a draw with both teams sharing the points. Arsenal were let off the hook by Manchester City, who could only draw the game against Aston Villa.

PetrCech joined Arsenal because he wants to challenge the top teams in Europe and they might be able to do it

PetrCech’s transfer to Arsenal has already been completed and the veteran shot-stopper has already started training with his new club at the Emirates Stadium. In one of the latest interviews that was made to the Czech player, he stated that Arsene Wenger played a huge role in the deal as the French manager convinced him it was a good decision to join Arsenal.

Besides Arsene Wenger, PetrCech said that he wanted to join a team which has aspirations of competing against the best teams in Europe and that’s why he opted to join Arsenal but this is a very bold thing to say about a club that has not won their league title since the 2003-04 season but with the arrival of PetrCech, this might be changing soon enough.

Petr Cech is to be Thanked to win over Everton

Chelsea had goalkeeper Petr Cech to thank for after the recent 1-0 win over Everton. Even though midfielder Willian came up with the late goal that won the blues all three points, it was made possible only because of the brilliance ofCech.

Recalled back into the starting line-up due to the poor form shown by Courtois,Cech made some outstanding saves in order to keep the score at 0-0. Two of those saves – from shots by former blue Romelu Lukaku – were critical during the 90 minutes, butCech later praised the team for keeping their belief and getting three points.

Petr Cech plays major role in Chelsea Team

Jose Mourinho has once again stressed that Petr Cech plays a major role at Chelsea despite having been limited to only 66 minutes of action in the Premier League this season.

The Czech Republic stopper has become the number two at Chelsea in a remarkable fashion. Few doubt the 32-year-old slipping into this position a few months ago, but the return of their Courtois as one of the top goalkeepers in the game has forced Mourinho into making this decision. Even though Cech is being sparingly used to this season, Mourinho says that the experience and quality that the 32-year-old brings is extremely important.

Cech claims situation at Chelsea is frustrating

According to Petr Cech, his situation at Chelsea FC at present is definitely frustrating and it has prompted him to start thinking about moving away from the club.
Cech has not been included in the starting line up of the Blues in any of the league matches that they have played in the 2014-15 Season.
The Italian’s only league appearance so far came versus Arsenal the previous weekend and that too only because the no. 1 goalie Thibaut Courtois injured himself in the middle of the match.
Cech’s main concern is that if he doesn’t play that much at Stamford Bridge, he might fall out of favour for Czech Republic as well.

Cech Ready For All Challenges

Chelsea’s Petr Cech is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world but the Czech footballer will have to perform better than ever in order to retain his spot in the starting lineup of Jose Mourinho as Thibaut Courtois has already made his return to Stamford Bridge after enjoying a sublime loan season with the Spanish club Athletic Madrid.

Along with Diego Costa, Courtois was another performer who played a huge role in the title winning season that Athletic Madrid enjoyed during the previous season.

FIRST TEAM ONLY

The father of the Belgian shot stopper Thibaut Courtois has clearly said that his son is not ready to be second in the pecking order at Chelsea. So, before having him, the Blues management will have to make a decision on the future of their first choice goalie Petr Cech.

Courtois had made a move to Stamford Bridge in July 2011 after leaving Genk, but, in the last 3 years, he hasn’t played a single match for Chelsea. He had been loaned out to the Spanish club Atletico Madrid immediately after his arrival and since then, he has been there only. He has already made close to 100 league appearances for Atletico and is currently their no. 1 goalkeeper.
