The goalkeeper of Chelsea, Petr Cech, has praised the new signing of the club Oscar who was the stand out performer for Chelsea against Juventus in the Champions League match played on 19th of September. Oscar scored two goals for Chelsea in that match, but, his efforts didn’t take Chelsea to victory. Juventus managed to level the scores in the second half and the match ended in a draw. Oscar was named as the man of the match for his brilliant performance.

Oscar has joined Chelsea this summer. Chelsea paid a huge transfer fee of 25 million pounds for buying Oscar from Internacional. Oscar played his first match for Chelsea against Wigan Athletic on 19th of August. That was Chelsea’s opening match of the season. Oscar substituted Eden Hazard in the 64th minute of the match.

When asked about that, Cech said, “It’s a long tournament. We still have to play a lot of games in the competition. It was not an ideal start, but, a decent one for sure. The Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has said that the club are making significant changes to the first-team by adding players who are hungry and looking to achieve big in the game.
