Petr Cech is the Czech Republic Player of the Year

Arsenal has once again fell short from their objective of winning the coveted Premier League title which they have not won in over 10 years. Despite not being able to secure the English title, there have been a few standout players in Arsenal that have performed at a high level in this season and PetrCech is one of those.

The 33 year old shot-stopper has kept 15 clean sheets in 33 matches and PetrCech has been voted as the Player of the year from Czech Republic, this is 8th time that the veteran player has secured this individual award, which is more than any other footballer ever.

When Arsene Wenger signed PetrCech on June 29 of 2015, fans of Arsenal were happy to see a world-class player joining the team and it’s someone that can make a huge impact in the team and help them out in their journey of becoming the champions of England.

PetrCech is a player that consistently manages to perform at a high level and even after switching clubs, this made no difference for the experienced shot-stopper as he was once again one of the renowned players of the Premier League with remarkable performances but it still wasn’t enough for Arsenal to snatch the top spot of the English League.

This is a huge blow for Arsenal and for their supporters as the English club failed once again to win the Premier League and even with the arrival of one of the highest rated goal-keepers in the world of football, Arsenal couldn’t achieve their dream and will have to attempt it once more in the next season.

Fortunately for Arsenal, they did manage to secure some titles in this season as Arsene Wenger and his men lifted the FA Community Shield and the Emirates Cup, so it has not been a trophy-less season for Arsenal.
